What did and is happening in our nation’s government clearly was predicted by Wieman in The Final Frontier and needs to be part of the WLL. In Religious Inquiry Henry wrote the following;

“…this brief period of democracy…is coming to an end. We seem to be moving into a time…[when] the great majority are made to think, feel, and act as the privileged few demand…wherein the privileged few gathers to themselves the benefits of social organization. …The danger will hang over the privileged few…because ruling groups come into conflict with one another….”

I believe this describes what is taking place in Washington, D.C. The oligarchs are in conflict. The entanglement among these diverse leaders is extremely complex and includes numerous oligarchs of which one prefers to be a monarch, another who views the United States as the Great Satan, while yet another wants to finish a war fought decades ago. Henry views it all though the lens of postcivilization which none of the oligarchs seem to grasp. 

Wieman saw what he described as “the ancient system prevalent throughout the whole of civilization…” None of this is new, it has happened many times before and was easily predictable for those who knew what, how and where to look. Those who have an unquenchable ambition for power and the wherewith all to accumulate wealth to increase and use that power have become throughout history the power brokers, while the masses settle for some form of slavery.

One of the biggest shifts in modern times is realizing whether one is or is not a slave, let alone to whom and for what. Historically, slaves were fairly aware of their status. That has become less obvious with modern “brainwashing” strategies, techniques and tactics. Anyone with a TV or cell phone is a likely candidate for some form of brainwashing. In the CI Psychodynamics series I’ll be looking at PTSD and its effects on the brainwashing process.
